Venues information

Throughout the academic year tomctutor holds public tuition events and general interest seminars throughout the Scottish Edinburgh and  Lothians district.

The events are either Mathematics or Physics for particular curriculum (SQA, A-Level, IB, Undergraduate etc).

These events are advertised through the local newspapers, word-of-mouth  and by flyers.

The age group for attendees is generally 15 and over.

I attempt to make the sessions interesting and relevant to passing examinations in the subject.

Attendance to such events is by the student attending with a registration form (completed by their guardian) and paying the advertised entrance fee at the door.  Students over 17 years of age need not obtain such signature but are required to still fill in a form themselves.
It is advisable to book a place at the event first (using the above emailer please)

The venues are held at public places such as libraries, community centres and normally have facilities provided by their own management (this is however outside tomctutor's remit);  I would endeavour to ensure that everything is done to ensure that all students attending are safe and comfortable as far as possible or practical.

It is the responsibilities of guardians to ensure that attendees get to and return from such venues safely.  Alternative arrangements may be made by guardians for payment of fees by agreement with myself if this suits them better.

I will update my Tuition Blog site with event summary and follow up news.

Please don't phone/email venue itself as they cannot deal with general enquiries regarding the event that I am organising!
